LAUREN BAILEY began designing handbags seven years ago, but she embarked on her quest for health and wellness many years before. Through yoga, meditation and diet Lauren fully realized the meaning of wellness and hoped to somehow incorporate it into her design concepts.
The idea to fuse fashion and healthy living emerged when she discovered the healing properties of certain magnets. Knowing that fashion accessories often utilize magnets as practical hardware, Lauren decided to employ theraputic magnets in the structure of her handbags, and the BAILEY brand was born.
Each BAILEY bag includes two or more of the naturally occurring, rare earth neodymium discs. These magnets are helpful in reversing the negative effects caused by electromagnetic radiation that we carry around with us everyday, via technology such as cell phones and laptops.
Style was not lost in the pursuit of wellness. Each BAILEY handbag is made with soft Italian lambskin and available in a specially-crafted color palette. The bags are made domestically in small quanities to assure quality and exclusivity.
